New Lumix GM1 - Small Is Beautiful!

Two days ago Panasonic launch their latest itsy bitsy Lumix GM1.

This small wonder might be the SMALLEST MFT (M43) camera in the world, but in it's tiny very strong magnesium alloy body lies a 16.00-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor; which can rival the much larger big brother GX7!

The GM1 comes bundled with the new Lumix G VARIO12-32mm (24-64mm equivalent) f/3.5-5.6 Asph. MEG O.I.S. pancake zoom lens.

The GM1 is so strong that it can support your weight!!  (Image from Fotohanskeuzekamp)

The little GM1 also come in more feminine colour ;) The little zoom lens do stick out a bit, during operation.

For about NZD 1,000 you also get...

1036K-dot touchscreen and Wi-Fi connectivity,  a completely silent electronic shutter with a maximum shutter speed of 1/16000s!

Focus peaking, pop-up flash and Full HD video recording capabilities.

For an extra NZD 100.00 you can improve the "holdability" with this tiny, metal; machined grip!
